The Millstream Falls is found near Ravenshoe in Far North Queensland, Australia. This waterfall is said to be the widest single drop in Australia. Apparently only part of the waterfall is visible from the only location to which I had access. Nevertheless, it is a big waterfall. I was standing above the waterfall and looking down on it. Apparently the waterfall turns a corner at the far right of the photo and the drop continues along that edge.
I used my compact digital camera to take this photo. It was a rainy day and I had to hurry to get the photos. It started raining heavily before I got back to the car.
I thought it would be a good idea to try for these waterfall photos during the wet season so that there would be large amounts of water in them. I’d like to try again at a different time of year with a hope of seeing blue skies.
