hey Larry….great to see you….this is a great shot….great balance in more ways than one. Reminds me of a place in New Zealand we came across on an ocean road and along it there were hundreds of these balancing rock sculptures. It was brilliant stuff….obviously done by the locals and passing tourists. Cheers to you mate and Aimee.

  • Hey Cos! How ya’ been lately? I know, these little rock sculptures are here in the States too. I’ll see them on the sides of highways, etc. Thanks so much for your comment, great hearing from you.

i love it and enjoyed it thoroughly…
there is a rural game in India.. with these stack of stones.. it’s known as “PITTHU”… there are two teams in it… each player of a team gets 3 chances to dismantle the stack with a ball through from a predetermined distance…(it is same for both the teams..)… once it’s dismantled then the fun begins…
all members have to remake it… while the opponents try not to let you make it..
if the opponents are able to strike you with the ball then you loose the game and chance to dismantle is passed to another player of the same teams …
total score…. the innings end when.. all players have exhausted there chances…
and turn of the opponents come…
who so ever dismantles and remakes the most wins…
you just need your buddies… a cloth /soft ball (otherwise you would be in hospital) and stones… cheapest gear… no special equipment required…

    wonderful take well done friend…
you are also under the lens friend

  • I am really pleased you took the time to explain this game from India. How fascinating. I love how simple and yet how challenging it sounds. I very much enjoyed meeting you Pradeep.

again simplicity wins my heart :)

  • Simplicity really is the best approach to photography, I don’t know why I have such a hard time remembering that! lol Thanks again for all your great comments. :)
