Ive just gone and lost every single picture from the weekend, 97 to be exact!!!!!
I left my PC on last night to download some albums and i awoke to it being off. I tried to boot it up but it wouldnt load past the windows logo. I tried to see if there was anything i could do in the BIOS settings but to no avail. So, i had to reboot the system using the recovery cd’s and because my pictures were on my desktop to be worked on i have lost them all…...............what a bugga :( I managed to save a few that i had already worked on, like 5 of them but the rest i have lost…...........!!!
Basically what i had to do was re-install windows again. Im wondering, is there any way i can retrieve the pictures or have i lost them for good?
Do any of you guys know if they can be retrieved?
Ill be standing at the top of Blackpool Tower with a huge brick tied round my legs awaiting help!

Oh Stevie – let’s hope some guru can help you – have you asked Bill????? He’s pretty good at IT stuff. I have had stuff recovered by an expert in similar situations but of course who knows what really has happened here.

Meh…..thanks alot guys. Yea very sad morning lol :)
Sarah, unfortunatly they are all of the camera. When i transfer them to the PC i select the MOVE TO FOLDER command as apposed to the COPY TO FOLDER.

Steve the pictures are still on your camera!
When you MOVE them ( which is a bad move you should allways copy ) they get copied and then ERASED off of the card.
But they are still there if you have not put anymore pictures on the card or not fomratted the card,. search Google for Undelete Software for camera cards. Do not use the card until you do this!!!
I have done this for many people and helped many people on here get their pictures back from damaged hardrives aswell.
Here is a BubbleMail from one of my happy customers on RB

Thank you, Thank you, i downloaded PC Inspector smart recovery, a freeware, and it recovered all the photos I mentioned plus others that were taken and cleared off the card several time ago. Don’t understand how it can still be there without filling up the card and without showing up on a camera read or computer read but they were there, Amazing. Thanks again.
