... apparently, one of the locals found my escape pod dissolving in the acidic surf and had pulled me free. Luckily he guessed acid and human flesh don’t agree and after a struggle (I’m considerably bigger than he is) my savior deposited my unconscious body amongst the dunes. I think I’ll call him Friday….
