Beautiful image! Lovely use of texture to add to the photo. Doesn’t grunge seem a funny word when it can lend such beauty? You present a strong argument for me to return to Photoshop.

Only just caught this one Jan, yes grunge hints at dirt and decay, not ethereal beauty (which I am always striving to portray). I love Photoshop to bits, could never do this kind of thing without it.

I must admit that I’m not normally a great fan of the “old master” processing technique, but this really is a bit special. The minimalist simplicity works wonders!

I had neglected to reply to this Ian, sorry… thanks for the ‘old master’ comparison, its quite flattering! Not often you can get this place without boats in it, but this was taken in February which makes it a bit easier ;)
