Amazing capture of those clouds Steve, as if they are coming right out of the lighthouse!
Steve Sharp replied
Thanks Joni, had to walk around a bit to get the lighthouse in the right place for the clouds, think it works like this rather than off centre :)
George Swann
Looks as though the Lighthouse has got carbon footprint problems, wonderful shot Steve!!
Steve Sharp replied
It would be strangely ironic if it did have George, as it would contribute to its own downfall, given that it will be in the sea within a generation!

I need to live in a lighthouse, this one will suit my needs well. Gorgeous image!
Steve Sharp replied
Thanks! One of the houses at the bottom was up for sale recently – would one of those do? ;) (I’ve always wanted to live in a lighthouse too… )

Wow ! Love this. What lens was you using to get all this in, the sky is to die for, congrats !
Steve Sharp replied
Cheers Ric, this was a Sigma 10-20mm on my Canon 400D, used at the 10mm setting (17mm 35mm equivalent). Possibly needed even wider, but this was as wide as I could go :)
LTPhotography
Great capture, very unusual cloud formation, great composition
Steve Sharp replied
Thanks very much – had to walk around the lighthouse to get the clouds to fall in the right place, – can’t take any credit for the cloud formation though :)
Jennifer Woodward
Love the sense of space in this, Steve – and those clouds – lovely!
Steve Sharp replied
Thanks sweetie, we have dizzyingly big skies here in Norfolk (to compensate for the lack of hills! ;)
James Godber
One to share with my inlaws, who are locals. Nice work!
Steve Sharp replied
Cheers James, hope they’re not too close to the rapidly encroaching cliff edge!
Scott d'Almeida

Steve Sharp replied
Cheers Scott, glad you liked it.

Steve Sharp replied
Thanks Rebecca – this was one that could have been processed in so many different ways (or not at all), was spoilt for choice :)

I could never be bored to see this beautiful place on your photos, Steve.
And each time it has a different sort of energy and power and that really speaks tons about this place and your artwork of course.

Good composition with dramatic sky. The clouds lead the eye into the picture.
