    Thank you Bettina, I have two shepherds so was especially drawn to this. I approached form the other side with the dog behind him, but I knew where I wanted the shot from and was walking as fast as I could hoping they would not move for a while

    I like the horizontal version (above) the best. If it were to be cropped, I would crop it just to the left of the post on the far right side. That post tends to pull my eye in that direction. Maybe just me…you are the artist. Either way…I love the timing of this capture. Great job!!

    Thanks, Scott for your input. Whwn I first cropped it I liked that version better but as time goes but I am leaning back to this original. This one tends to show the relaxed attitude of he owner of the dog a bit more I think. I’m here to learn though, all opinions welcome.

    sometimes it doesn’t come easy. I saw this from the other side and realised the best angle was 50 metres away. I hurried to get there saying to myself, “don’t move, don’t move”
