Constant down pours for more than a week have produced some amazing sights around Uluru. Usually bone dry sand and dust is transformed into a tropical garden if only for a short time.

Stunning! You have some fabulous images in your portfolio Steve, you’re so lucky to live in such an amazing place :-)
Steven Pearce replied
Cheers Kath, Its not always the easiest place to live but the desert has so much to offer photographers and naturalists alike. I would like to move to West Australia just for a change but my partner likes it here in Alice Springs so I happy with that.

Steven Pearce replied
Thanks Honor,
Everything just came together here. I have three slightly different compositions but this was by far the best.
Leena Hedman
Exquisite composition, captivating, soothing image!
Steven Pearce replied
Hey Leena,
thanks for the comment… its the “soothing image” one that I really loved as its easy to get composition and interest but making something that portrays a sense of peace is special.
