Head of the Canyon, 24 September 2008
The head of Kings Canyon the highlight of the Watarrka National Park. Trekking 6km around the rim of the canyon this view is great for orientating yourself to the geology of the area. The opposite wall details layers of sediment crossbeded by the prehistoric Alice Springs Orogeny.
