Portrait of an Ancient (revised)
This is a revised version of my original Portrait of an Ancient.

Her name is Princess Obsidyanna, a member of an ancient race of Saurian humanoids called the Vekolth. They lived during the time of the Dinosaurs 65 million years ago. She’s a character in a sci-fi story I’m writing.

In this depiction the Princess is enjoying a morning sunrise with her pet Archaeopteryx named Booboh flying nearby.

Those of you familiar with Dinosaurs will remember that the Archaeopteryx was discovered to have feathers and is believed to be the Dinosaur that evolved into modern birds.
.
Since my story is set during the time of the Dinosaurs I figured that it would be natural for the Princess to have a pet Dinosaur just as we would a dog or cat.

Love this version. I loved the original one too and again I feel that your graphic ability and talent are shining through. A beautiful rendering that takes into account a creative use of light, color and theme.
