    I want so badly to call these Australian Apricot Chanterelles? But don’t know for sure. Would have loved to smell them…….if that’s the right species they actually SMELL like apricots! What a gorgeous cluster…the gills are just amazing

    I am really sorry for my late reply and there was a sweetness to the smell them but not sure it was apricot like but they were in plentiful supply and looked like little beacons along the track.
