Irony or laziness?

This piece reflects my thoughts on photography being overused in graphic design to communicate the message for us. I am such a victim myself that my ‘anti-photographic’ design ended up using an image. I was seduced by my own photograph and dumped the illustration I had ready to do the job.

I guess it serves as just another example of the problem.

I am a Melbourne based artist.
I communicate through a mix of traditional and digital media.

Good concept Steve! Design and advertising! Both guilty!

  • You seem to do very well with vectors and a sharp mind.

As long as the images offers something interesting and considered for the viewer / audience, maybe it’s still ok?
