I wanted to achieve a powerful contrast between the presentation of the words and their meaning. The words describe something almost intangible yet the text is as structured, and stylised as possible.

The text is lifted from a written piece Waiting for you.

I am a Melbourne based artist.
I communicate through a mix of traditional and digital media.

Love it! Feel like I should be wearing 3D glasses …

  • Thanks. I am fascinated with the miss-registered print jobs of old. I have been working on a 3D piece for a while though, not sure when it’ll be finished.

This is great – I like the contrast.
The typefaces and layout remind me a bit of Jeff Canham

  • Thanks – and thanks for the link. JC’s work is awesome. I wasn’t familiar with his stuff other than what was featured in IdN a while back.

Its Beautiful Steve! again you have a great balance in composition. LOVE THE OFF SET COLOR! it gives a old print style. I know you love the western block font like I do! very nice!

  • Thanks. Great to see someone is appreciating the same print aspect that has inspired this piece.
