Royal Australian Air Force fly past over the Shrine of Remembrance, part of the Victorian State Remembrance Day Ceremony, Melbourne Wednesday 11 November 2009.

The day also celebrated the 75th anniversary of the dedication ( in 1934) of the Shrine of Remembrance.

    Great shot……interesting composition. I live near the base where the roulettes are so I see them a lot, so to see you use the shrine and the planes together like this is a great shot.

  • Thanks Judith, I think I would describe it as a lucky shot. The planes go over you “really” fast when they are that low and you don’t get time to do anything except press the button and hope for the best! :-)
