South Georgia is an amazing place, although the beach where this image was taken, Salisbury Plain, is out of this world!!!
The image was taken from a hill and is of king penguins and their chicks. There are approximately 250 000 penguins at this breading colony! It’s amazing how they find each other! The sound as you come over the hill is tremendous, not to mention the smell!!
The chicks are so inquisitive and come right up to you. I think they just want some food!

Do you ever sleep. My problem is with too much pollution produced by flying. Your images are breathtaking.
