An Ice Rest
WILD & FREE
Polar bear having a nice rest on an ice floe.
The sea ice is shrinking at an alarming rate, which has a huge impact for the bears as this is their main hunting ground. More and more bears are being found to have drowned while trying to find the ice, even though they can swim up to sixty miles or so!
I hope the ice does not completely vanish and that they always have somewhere to hut!

This breaks my heart as well I feel so much for the beautiful polar bears but what breaks my heart even more is that there is so much controversy in Washington about the diminishing polar ice caps and weather or not they are really shrinking when we all know that they are.. I hope someday very soon they wise up and get an F… clue in time to save the bears and the penguins as I am sure they are in danger as well.. beautiful photo with a message!!!!

Awwwh! This is a stunning picture as always! Yes it is alarming the rate the ice is melting! We should just make more people aware and try and prevent more carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. Our carbon is the highest in 125 years! STOP IT TODAY!

Steve, can we make floating platforms along their feeding routes for them, since we have melted their ice. Al they need is a place to rest on their travels.
