    Spectacluar image! Now i was always told that you were never to stare them in the eye as they take that as a threat, can becomae agressive, hostile and try to kill you, is this statement true?

    Great portrait and very nice DOF, although I never would look him into his eyes. A woman here (in the Netherlands) was almost killed at the zoo a while ago, because of that. A gorilla totally freaked out, got over the water and grabbed her. Dramatic, such an animal running around between the people…. Nevertheless, animals live best in nature instead of zoo’s. The shot is awesome!
