We were really lucky to come across these “Little Bee Eaters” whilst on safari in Samburu National Park. They didn’t sit still for long, always moving then flying away, but when they did I was fortunate enough to get this shot.

They come to australia to live sometimes, we call them rainbow bee eaters and the burrow in the ground. Captured well, beautiful image. I have had the rare pleasure of seeing them once or twice.

Thanks for the nice comment! I’m not a birder but I belive (and have just looked on google images) the the “rainbow bee eaters” is not the same as the “little bee eater”, but they do look quite alike!
