Arctic Tern
On the last morning of our Arctic trip we had a few hours to spend in Longyearbyen before our departure. We went for a walk along the shore and came across these Arctic Terns. They were extremely protective, repeatedly dive-bombing me as I photographed them!

I have a similar photo to this on slide, but taken a lot closer to where I live. Good capture though, as their constant weaving about in the sky isn’t easy to take.

You caught a pretty feather pattern, Steve. The Arctic Tern is one of my greatly admired birds, champion long-haul travellers of the globe. There is so much to learn from them.
