Wow, what an amazing nature study. And the capture is technologically perfect. It is hard to believe anyone could look at this photo and then debate the merits of any measure designed to protect their habitat. What a shame it will be if they vanish from the earth.

What a blessing to be able to see a sight like this, to have the awesome skills to photograph it so well, and to be willing to share it. A real gift to us all! Thank you.

This is more than just a great photo of the bears-the background, the ice-I almost feel as though I can touch it. Not blown out, good photography.

This is an instant favourite….my daughter was in Iceland last year when a polar bear landed by way of a stray icefloat …he was promptly shot ! I look at these beautiful animals and ask how could anyone do that??
