A crop of my ‘Polar Love’ image.
The sea ice is shrinking at an alarming rate, which has a huge impact for the bears as this is their main hunting ground. More and more bears are being found to have drowned while trying to find the ice, even though they can swim up to sixty miles or so!
I hope the ice does not completely vanish and that they always have somewhere to hut!

It is a crying shame on what the human race has done to this planet. starvation and drowning is the fate that many of the Polar bears is already facing, thanks to the greed and ignorance of man.
What makes it worse, it is irreversible now. Had the USA singed up to the Kyoto treaty some 20 years ago we could have halted the melting of the Arctic.
Your image shows, that all creaturs on this planet, not just humans, share the same feelings of love and compassion.
That this is not just a human trait, humans are not the unique and superior being it arrogantly beleives it is. We have no humanity, or compassion and our ignorance, greed and selfish desires is destroying this planet before our eyes.
