Intelligence Shines Through
(A is for Ape)
I just heard a story of a little 4 year old boy who fell into a Gorilla pen in London some years back. A female went over and felt the boy over to ensure he was not badly hurt, then picked him up and kept him away from the large male Gorilla until she could hand the little boy over to zoo officials. It just seemed like a good story to share.
(Taken in the Los Angeles Zoo with a Nikon D300 using a Nikkor 80-200 f2.8 lens).

I love the softness of gorilla’s faces. They are very articulate with their expressions and it give my face a chance to smile each time I am fortunate to view them. So thanks for this brilliant picture as it lets me do just that today. :)
