Water dragon lizards shed their skin very often, particularly when they are young and are growing quickly. This young water dragon exhibits the classic skin-shedding exhibition that reveals the next layer of new and pristine skin. Taken on the foreshore of Lake Eden, North Lakes, Brisbane using a Panasonic Lumix FZ-18 camera.
