I’m not sure how we met on MySpace, but about a year ago I started talking to him about his new book, a non-fiction book on zombies. Non-fiction book on zombie’s? Sounds cool to me, so I sent him a couple of pieces I thought fit the theme. He chose one and sent me all the legal hereto’s and therefore’s and asked me to do a bio and a little write up to be used in the book. I had trouble coming up with the write up to be used with the art so I tossed a few idea’s around with Karen Godin (a great friend and fellow artist). This is what we came up with.
“Artists see the world a little differently…some of them have the courage to look at the darker things-pain, madness, death… capturing the essence of each on canvas or in print, illuminating the mysteries for all the world to ponder”

“STEVE HESTER is a self-employed house painter, artist & musician, living in Fountain Inn, SC. His fascination with the intricacies of life are realized in his Surreal Artwork… much of which he is unable to interpret himself. As a result, Steve is always intrigued by what those who appreciate his art and are able to see it.”
