I have written nothing yet

I have written nothing yet
Heads on the writer’s block
If I don’t finish soon you wait
I’m sure to face the chop

If I don’t write I’ll loose my hair
That really is what hurts
Is this the way that Shakespeare felt
Before he wrote his works?

In the beginning was the word
Or so said the creator
He’s to blame, the reason I
Am such a stuffed potato

I have a small hiatus
There’s nothing much to see
It quickly needs a flower to give
Some fruits literary

My brains the worst distraction
This worthless poetry
If I could get it out my mind
I might write profitably

It’s really been a waste of time
Wading through this muddle
As you’ve got as far as this
Thank you for your trouble

I have written nothing yet
