    Pretty! They look like a green version of the Chickadee’s in the US.

  • Thanks Karen. I have never seen a Chickadee, apart from pictures, so don’t know. The green finch is about the size of a sparrow but as the name suggests mainly green! It is widespread in Europe, but not all that common.

    Lovely shot Steve. I read Karen’s comment above.Chickadees are their version of tits…the birds you show here are two Great Tits (left and top) and two Blue Tits (the smaller birds)
    It’s still a well caught shot,not easy as they are usually moving a lot……congrats on your feature
