This is a 12 shots panorama taken from the Hochzeiger Gratweg (ridge trail) looking South-South-East towards the Oetztaler Alps and it’s various glacier regions.

To the very right you can see my wife and kids as they continue down the rigde trail.
It wasn’t a very difficult hike, but still for a 5 year old and a 6 1/2 year old it was exciting enough, as most of the time one side of the trail was “open” and the mountain went straight down.

cool shot – the addition of the hikers works well to give scale to this epic landscape!

Great pano! I like to make panos as well, although on RB they are difficult to see (look here)

  • showing/displaying panos on the web is always difficult – too many details get lost. still, they give a nice “first impression” of a place and (maybe) want some people to see more.

ein bissl Werbung für Österreich muss schon sein ;o)
