another visit to the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain (2.964m).
the last time I’ve been up there some three or four weeks ago there was still no snow up there and the air was pretty dirty.
this time there was already some snow, just enough to go skiing and the air was brilliant clear and you were able to enjoy the view.
This photo was taken on the German side of the Zugspitze. To the very left you can see the summit cross and straight ahead we are looking (east) into the Wettersteingebirge which is running along the German-Austrian border.
