I’m rolling in envy right now! Gorgous! I’m going to say these are Ringed Honey Mushrooms…definately the right time of season if you’re hitting autumn or early winter….even SPRING!
Considered safely edible for half the population…I’m not one of those safe people. These make me REALLY green…and not just with envy. :o)

  • Aww, thanks, Carla, for the great comment, and for the help with ID-ing this fungi. I’m so jealous of your knowledge of fungi and so grateful for the generosity of your sharing it… Bad luck that you can’t eat these ones… but luckily you can enjoy looking at them anyway! For me, eating wild mushrooms is a no-go area anyway… find it much too risky. So I keep to the supermarket ones LOL – Thanks, my friend!

Wow what a beautiful bunch of fungi!! And what a find, love these species. Good of Carla to give you the ID ;o))

  • yes, indeed – I was all excited about these too – esp. that they were so many, several of those bunches in a row along the path (you may have seen the other (overview-) pic I made of that) – And indeed, I really do appreciate Carla’s help! :D
