Jacobs Hoeve – cheese farm
Traditional and contemporary cheese farm
Katwoude, Holland, the Netherlands
documentary – photo-journalism
Description:
A few years ago, my sister and myself visited the Jacobs-hoeve, a cheese farm where next to the contemporary cheese production in the cheese factory, the cheese is also made daily in the traditional way, as a tourist attraction.
In this pic: The displays of the cheese in the shop, and some plates with ready-cut cheese and Dutch honey-mustard, to have a taste… :) (And yup, definitely, we tasted them all, and brought a good choice home too :giggle: )

Great capture! Cheese is my culinary Waterloo. It always looks most attractive and I like the smell of it cooking, but I cannot stand the taste! Your picture has got me bemoaning my Fate!
