Nicely composed and great color! I think I like this one better than the B&W, but it’s hard to decide. Maybe you could use the B&W and then just leave color on the yellow bike and the flowers. Of course, that would take a lot more work … me and my big suggestions hugh?

  • LOL – oh, well, I love that, Richard! Selective colouring may be a great idea for this image indeed. And who knows, maybe I will find time/inspiration to do it some time… Thank you for the suggestion, and for the kind comment! :)

For me, The coloured photo. I know that b & W. is good sometimes but I do love colour.
Yes and the bikes and canals remind me of a wonderful holiday I had when my dear husband took me to his home and family in Den Hague. Leon is the 6th child in 13. I certainly got the best deal. His family were wonderful to me but the man I married 53 years ago here in Oz is still the best in the world. We have 12 beautiful grandchildren out of four siblings.

  • Thanks for letting me know your preference, Rita! Great that this image brings back fond memories for you! And what a marvellous family you have!
