Artist's Description

Artis Amsterdam – Zoo collection
the Netherlands

“The Ankole-Watusi cattle with their enormous long horns are kept by the Watusi herders in Rwanda. Their dung is used for fuel and the urine to cleanse the body. Females have the longest horns, up to a meter; those of the bulls are shorther and thicker.” Quote from the zoo’s guide.
