Waterloo Market treasures
Red haired porcelain doll with white lace dress and blue polka dotted blouse and ribbons. I discovered this doll in a dark corner of the flee market and was ‘in love’ right away… What stories would she have to tell? :)
Own photo made at the Waterloo Square Flee Market with several layers of textures added.
Amsterdam, the Netherlands

What a cutie. Is she a Kaethe Kruse doll ? Sure looks like it. :-))

  • Aww, Bine, so nice you mention this. How could I find out, I would love to know. I photographed her on a flee market, some years ago, so can’t look for any markings on the doll itself, but I will google around to find out more.

Oh dear – I have no idea how to find out, nor am I an expert on dolls. Your picture just reminded me so much of Kaethe Kruse dolls. Maybe google “Kaethe Kruse” and see what you come with ? Please do let me know ! :-))
