My pinhole camera

My pinhole camera

This is a silly flyer from my last exhibition that shows and describes how my 6-hole pinhole camera works. It’s this thing what takes all my panoramic landscape montages.

You can see all my pinhole works here

My pinhole camera belongs to the following groups:

Awesome stuff Steph… Always wanted a cheap way to try this out! (I know – film is the hard part!!)

Silly? Wicked flyer that goes a long way to showing off an object that is nothing short of genius

From the bobby pin loading assist mechanism, down to the teddies on the lid, it’s a thing of beauty. It’s only one more week before I get to see it in the flesh… I’m going silly with excitement :)

thank you for sharing! very cool camera indeed… it must have taken quite a while and a few meters of film to get the correct results. Very, very cool =)

I’ve always wanted to make one like this, but I still haven’t finished my single hole camera, so it’s probably not terribly likely anywhere in the near future. :D

Steph, thanks for showing this; nothing silly about it. I haven’t got a flyer for any of mine, but maybe I’ll journal something, and let you see a real Heath Robinson job! I take my hat off to you, for wrestling with half lengths of 120 in total darkness. I’ve had to work with 1mm thick, 14-inch glass plates in darkness, but at least they don’t curl and flop around!

Hi I would like to favourite this but there doesn’t seem to be a way!
(I’ve just bookmarked the page instead).
Thanks very much for this insight into ‘how’.
