I spent most of Drawing Day on an airplane, but I managed to do some quick sketches in the air. UPDATE: the cruddy photo has been replaced with a slightly less cruddy scan!

Why griffins? Why not? I guess something was sparked by the fact I was flying at the time. He’s actually a character from one of the stories I have floating around in my head, with the personality of a big friendly dog.

And the cat? He started out as a lion, but I think he doesn’t know the difference. A lot like the one I have at home.
