Pure Watercolour on Arches 140lb….
I try to paint all my flowers from life, No pre drawing, just wetting the paper, dropping in some pale washes of pigment and see where it takes me.. It allows so much more freedom…..

You are very skilled at that. I cannot control wet paper and pigment and I end up tearing the paper =) This is very beautiful.

Thank you Angel… Make sure you use paper at least 140lb. Start by very loosly painting the flower with just water, then take some pigment and drop it in, see where it goes..Then adding to it at just the right time.. Don’t work your paper.The beauty of watercolour is to let it be free..Work with it….
