Absolutely gorgeous, Steph! You strike such a perfect balance with your application of digital to traditional. She’s positively glowing and looks every bit the earth child!

  • thanks Sarah…i’ve had some interesting comments outside of RB on this one, some say she seems a bit masculine..xx

I don’t think she looks overly masculine at all. She has a squarish jaw, yes, but the face structure of every female is different. She reminds me of someone, but I haven’t been able to put my finger on who exactly. I think she also appears quite young, which may just be the absence of the beauty enhancements we see in almost every portrayal of women- glossy lips, long eyelashes, heavily lined eyes etc. Even the shadows are frequently airbrushed out of photos! And when photo’s are used for illustrative reference, we see that all carried through in artistic portrayal as well.
No, I love what you’ve done here. Perfect.
(sorry, went off on a slight tangent! Lol.)

  • Thanks for your view on it Sarah. I wasn’t offended when they came up with that. Found it interesting. She was created during a course i’ve been taking in meditation called Awakening the Light Body, i wanted to express one of the centers that i was exploring during this course. I guess there is an androgynous aspect to her. You can rant all you like by the way lol! X
