ASCII Characters in your RedBubble Journal

Two ASCII characters that they don’t tell you about for use in formatting your text in redbubble.

BRACKETS
1. When brackets are used within a web link in your journal-posts, the text within appears in the hover-over text.

For those, like myself, who understand HTML, it is the equivalent of title="text"
Therefore
"Title (Hover Message)" colon http-link
will give you
Title

Very nifty little trick!

PIPES
2. When a pipe is used within your page, the best I can ascertain is that you are creating the equivalent of cells and columns (like tables in “HTML”.

I discovered this technique by accident. You’ll see at the top of my profile are three links (to my website, online journal and my flickr account). This is the key strokes to create same:

pipe space [text] space pipe space [text] space pipe

Make sure you place a ‘pipe’ at the far right in ensure the three areas of text are evenly spaced right across the width of screen._
This element no longer functional Attribute seems to change randomly and sporadically.

DISCLAIMER:
Now, I don’t at all suggest that you go about using these everywhere. I’m just making people aware why sometimes text may not appear when you use brackets and pipes in your conversation or photograph-comments.
