History of the MiniJem Mini-derived sports-car, which grew out of the Mini Dart project, and was produced in three variants (Mk I-II) between 1967 and 1976. Over the course of its production, the Mini Jem was produced by various different companies, including John Taylor in South Australia, who made Mk 1’s under license as Taylorspeed Gems. Whilst it has been said before that the Mini Jem has similar features to the Gogomobil , I have been informed that the two are entirely different cars. But I suspect that was not the intention of your comment. Yes, this car can go-go fast!
