Condition
Originally written as a response to this great t-shirt , it got so long it evolved…
Love it. When they think your creative style is a condition, I say go with it.
Us creative types have initiative, are innovative, are meticulous, can see all the details (and know how to either ignore or amend them), and can see outside the box.
We see rainbows where others see rain, we see silhouettes when others only see darkness, we see opportunity where others only see work.
I like this condition.
If it were a drug : I’d subscribe or grow my own.
If it were a drink : I’d get it on tap.
If it really were a disease : I’m waiting for it to mutate onward.
I’m not lowering my standards to those of someone whose only excitement is finding crumbs in their keyboard, dust on the mantle or another F0xt3l channel.
Life is about evolving: What will you be tomorrow?

Bitter … we all have days like that. Even I do.
I find the only way to overcome is to vent. Not with anger, but by expressing through my art, through my creativity. A great photograph, poem, prose or statement can destroy all the problems. No, they may not be gone … but at least life is better for a while.

What an insipiring entry… back when I was growing up, I was very self-conscious about my stick figure… 15 years later, I’m setting up the tripod, disrobing and getting featured on RB. So much for the assholes that picked on me as a kid, right? ;)

Haha, Duffboy, I was also one of the the sticks in the crowd, the pattern on the wallpaper and imprint on the bully’s knuckles. I guess I was self-conscious, but it all disappeared when I left the country for the big smoke. Anybody can be anybody: All you need is pizzazz, chutzpah and tenacity. You seem to have all three, so congratulations, you have the condition!
