Hear Me Roar

Hear Me Roar

She sleeps atop the bookshelf. Moments earlier I’d seen only an ear twitch, and knew she was waking up.
As she stretched her little frame, I got the camera ready. I was there just-in-time for her almighty roar across the valley.

Thank you Freelancer, DMarie and Shane for your comments, because until yours I had no idea that Torfinn, Cheetaah, Carlos, Courier, GypsyGirl, Eramophla, Mark, and Mui-Ling had also left lovely comments on this image!

This beautiful little kitten is now about 10-years-old (in cat years), yet still rules the roost with an iron paw.
We are currently renovating our backyard and kitchen so that she has more space to control. (Well, actually, it’s for me and the wife, but Fluff refuses to believe that.) We’re also repolishing floorboards which she and her siblings have scritched and scratched for the past ten years.
Cats. Can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em.

I love this picture!!! She could be the “flip top head” characters for the Reach toothbrush commercials. Nice shot.

Thanks Roachy. That would be funny!
