Nice use of light & shadow on the grid below..half and half sort of thing.

Thank you for your comment Tracy. Please note the new description I’ved added to this image since your comment: This is an overlay of two images to create one of three in a small series . Take a look at all three to understand the relationship
Wanda Lechene
great texture and also great DOF i really love the way you took this shot.
Stephen Mitchell
Thank you Wanda!
I will admit that the idea for this series was discovered through the overlay of two photographs that on their own expressed a lot, but together they say so much more.
GerryMac

Gerrymac ... Thanks for your compliment on this image!
Wendy ... Thank you. Yeah, these taps make the whole image don’t they? I’m so glad I found them that day!

That’s great – totally thought this was a outer space image – and it’s a great series too.
Stephen Mitchell
Thank you Marion ... Hehe, yeah, looks something from the 3rd Dimension coming into land. Would be nice if it were bringing more water!
Yes, the small series is a tribute for all the farmers who are suffering without much water. Despite getting recent rain, it’s a little too late for some, and not nearly enough for those still trying to survive.
