I could tell from the thumbnail pic that this was going to be good. Well, its way better than good. Excellent shot Steve. Great exposure on the subject while leaving the background lit enough but still very subtle.

Whilst I prefer not to spend too much time in post-production of my photographs, I’m utilising this technique to put a 3D-quality to a few flower shots. It seems to be working.
