Very nice Stephen. The chocolate brown that runs thru the bird and the ground really works well. Very sharp and nicely exposed.

Unfortunately a pair of Kookaburra’s here have been domesticated by regular feedings from unconcerned tourists. Therefore I was able to lay flat on the ground and about two metres from them.
But now I wish I had a Canon 40D, as that would have enhanced these birds and their feathers far better!

Gayle ... Thanks. This was definitely an opportunity too good to miss out on, although I’d hate to think how the Forest Rangers would have reacted if they’d been there to discover someone feeding these birds Camembert and Brie cheese!
