lol only on for a short visit today, my laptop is running a temperature even with the cooling fans under it! :(
short story….. last night got home from work, we have had a rat infestation and last weekend we baited. well the rats are dying in the roof and the aircon was blowing the stench right through the house, we had to turn off the aircon, open the doors and sit in front of fans with wet tea towels…. aircon still not on….wheres my tea towel….............

Yuuuuchhhhh! And getting on the roof to remove them would not be fun in this heat! My sympathy goes out to you and your family!

LOL! A wonderful touch to your sink and floor. Very well-done!!

I know that heat!! I used to live in it. Now I live in the rain. Prefer the heat.
We’re getting coler up in the Northern Hemisphere, and it looks like Au is experiencing an awful heat wave. I used to try to work evening shift (about 3 pm to 11pm in the desertO whenever I could. Places with air conditioning were freezing, and the workers always had colds. Going outside, even in the evenings or at midnight was a whole shock to the system again.
More than once I’d come out from the end of a 3-11 shift at 11pm and there’s be a sign reporting the temp to at or above 120f.

I lived in QLD when I was very young. Some days the humidity of Adelaide matches the glorious humidity of Brisbane and other northern towns. But more it’s often dry, dry and dry. Today we have given up on the Reverse-Cycle aircon, instead we are using floor-fans … but they are blowing warm air.
    I am unsure which I prefer… heat…cold….
