Shell Necklace
These shells have attached themselves to a string of seaweed washed up in the surf.

Interestingly, my wife and I spotted this at the same time and just had to find a way to get a shot. I ended up flat on my stomach with my wife saying “Don’t drop the camera!” We used a zoom-lens as a macro which probably helps to enhance the grains of sand on the shells whilst degrading but not loosing the features in the background.

LIndaR ... I often find my best shots by not searching for them. Sounds corny, but it’s amazing how often this happens. The minute you start searching, it’s no longer art, but becomes work. Who wants that?
