This shot was actually very easy. There was water dripping off a roof from melting snow. I set my camera on continuous shooting and a high shutter speed (1/1000 or higher), hand focused on the the spot where the drip was hitting the puddle, shot off about 20 or so frames (would not try this with film) and then I viewed them on my computer and pick the best one which turn out to be AWESOME!
