Same Sunrise, different exposures
For the top photo, with the camera in Av Mode, I just pointed at the sunrise and took the shot. For the bottom photo I first point the camera down at the snow in foreground, then press the exposure lock button, then pointed it at the sunrise and took the shot.

Lens: 75-300mm zoom

Shutter Speed: 1/2000
F/stop: 7.1
Bottom Photo
ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 1/60
F/stop: 7.1
Taken February 27th, 2009 at 7:22AM just East of Winnipeg MB.
Other than putting them together on the same frame, the Photos are as is from the camera.
