I understand your hesitation about uploading it… I would have felt the same. Still, it catches the eye, it has movement – and it’s soft, because of the blur. Softness touches people no less than snarpness does, it seems;-)

I love bird pictures that show the movement of the bird. It seems many award winning photographs of birds are technically excellent but the birds don’t look real to me. I live in Maine where we have lots of chickadees—they are by far my favorite bird. Great shot!

I love the way you can see a bit of the separation between the feathers in the wings as it takes flight, and the way the bird stands out against the background.
