oil on floorboards 1993
After painting on a few floorboards I started to use the ragged ends. By now my front room had a huge hole in the floor. Given more time I would like to have used burnt wood and soldering irons to score the wood. I will try this sometime. I like the idea or burning marks into a painting.

Fascinating canvas and artwork, Stephen!! Wow, I love this. Did you coat it or leave it to wear with age?

Love the nighttime blue soft blue flannel tones.Love the design. Is the crown and the teeth being similar making hunger the king? Sharp hunger pangs? Hunger is hard to express so obliquely but you have done it! I am talking about toated french bread with sliced tomato and mozzaralla chees, fresh basil and olive oil with burgundy. Garlic stuffed olives and pate crackers as a side..
